giveaway!

Hooray--it's time for a contest! I have never hosted one before, so it's exciting. Make sure to read the rules and enable me to see your email address so I can notify you if you win! :)
THE CONTEST IS OVER NOW, but you can still name the picture if you feel so inclined.

Up for grabs are some notions that aren't glamorous, but very useful: gripping gloves for machine quilting and thread snips. I know, I know...not handmade and not creative, but I find that I am always lacking some basic supply when I sit down to do a project. I thought I'd try to help you guys out.
my giveaway day offerings
To enter, you need to leave a comment on this post giving the following photo a name. I will pick my favorite answer on Sunday afternoon:
my dogs in a rare moment of cuddling
It's my dogs in a rare moment of cuddling. These girls have a love/hate relationship. The one on the left is insane and the one on the right is blind and sweet and mellow.

*ETA: Please make sure to enter your email address or enable people to see your profile so I can track you down. Comments that don't name the picture and just say that you want to win will get deleted-- I know, I run a tough ship here. There have been so great entries, so keep them coming!  Good luck!

"We're not being peaceful...we're plotting!!!"

I currently use disposable latex gloves for my machine quilting, so "real" gloves would be wonderful!!!

I love those grip gloves - what a neat idea - we use a piece of balloon - or sometimes a set of pliers...

Awesome giveaway!

I am 8. I am learning how to sew. I have been doing some embroidery stitches. My 6 year old brother is learning some too. I hope to be on the machine before the end of summer. There are pictures of both of us sewing together and of our projects on my blog. Further down in previous posts, I also have pictures of my family, mom, dad, 15 month brother and other brother and sister. We homeschool.

I am having a giveaway as well at
www.sewingsister.blogspot.com

and so is my mom at www.sewingwithtrudy.blogspot.com

Sorry to hear about Alex. Just lost my old pal Cocoa a month ago or so. Love your idea of a quilt.

My caption/title would be:

"I not know what you looking at."

This is the kind of grammar our dog always used.

Blind Mellown

Okay to get this you'd have to know there was a rock group called Blind Melon. It's a play on your words of one dog being blind and the other being mellow.
